The Button Factory’s Night Market
I am excited to be selling Smitten Kitten Jewellery at the Button Factory’s Night Market this year. I will be primarily showcasing fancy one-of-a-kind pieces and unique hair accessories at this venue. The Night Market begins Friday November 29th and runs until December 20th, with special events Nov. 29th and Nov. 30th from 5-8. My work will be available for sale at the Button Factory Monday-Fridays 10-4 and Saturdays 12-4.
There will be lots of unique gifts from various local artists available for sale at this event, and 30% of the proceeds go to the worthy cause of supporting the Waterloo Community Arts Centre in the Button Factory.
I am excited to be participating in the Transformation Station: Make & Create @ WPL event on November 30th from 2-4 p.m. The library will be animating its spaces with creative, interactive centres for you to explore and enjoy. Each centre will have a different “maker” demonstrating what they do, as well as providing an interactive experience. There will be lots of cool demonstrations, I’m especially looking forward to the robotics demonstrations and seeing the 3D printer. I will be demonstrating my jewellery-making skills, and teaching kids to make rainbow loom bracelets. This is a free event with refreshments that should be fun for everyone!
Hi, I’m Kendall! Hello and Welcome to my new blog, Smitten Kitten Kendall!
When I am not working my day jobs at the public library and Meow Boutique, a vintage dress shop, I spend most of my time designing and making jewelry and accessories. I am a voracious reader and I write poetry and prose. I spend the rest of my time off hanging out with my super-cute dog, my lovely and amazing boyfriend, and my awesome friends.
I design and make all Smitten Kitten Jewelry by hand with love. The majority of my earrings, charm bracelets, necklaces and pendants are one-of-a-kind. Most of the pieces are vintage-inspired and some contain repurposed pre-loved materials that have been upcycled into unique creations. I love giving vintage beads and materials new life so that someone new can appreciate them! Check out my website if you want to know more 🙂 www.smittenkittenjewellery.com
I am looking for your feedback as I get this blog rolling – what do you want to read about?
